RN-Lubricants OOO (NK Rosneft's subsidiary) and NIU Moscow Power Engineering Institute hosted the  Petroleum Oil In Electric Power: Topical Application And Quality Control Aspects-2016 scientific and practical conference.

Leading experts of the engineering companies, power machinery oil producers, oil-filled power equipment producers, producers of instruments and devices for new and operating oils parameters control, oil treatment, and regeneration equipment producers and testing laboratories participated in the conference. Power enterprises experts shared their experience in using a wide range of power machinery oils in various equipment.

The conference considered topical aspects relating to import substitution, new quality control and oil use requirements, practical aspects of production, application, and quality control of transformer oils, turbine oils for steam and gas turbines, including CCGT, turbine oils for hydro sets, synthetic oils based on esters and silicone fluid.

In addition to the reports and discussion sessions during the conference, technical tours to the OAO NK Rosneft lubricants and oils plant - MZ Nefteprodukt to the labs, plate heat exchangers production site and separation units of the power machinery oil consumers have been organized
