Rosneft Compressor VDL

Rosneft Compressor VDL is a compressor oil produced from highly refined mineral base oils and highly effective additives. The additives provide a high level of anti-corrosive and anti-oxidant properties, as well as resistance to deposit formation. The oil is designed in accordance with the international standards, and the performance characteristics meet the requirements of the largest compressor manufacturers.

Field of application

Rosneft Compressor VDL is designed to lubricate compressors used in various industries. Less viscous products are used to lubricate screw and rotary compressors, while more viscous ones are used for various piston compressors. It can also be used in circulating systems of sliding bearings and rolling of various industrial equipment operating in high temperature conditions (in case application of oil with given viscosity level and functional properties is authorized by the manufacturer).

Oil Advantages

  • Additive package provides strong resistance against carbon deposits and varnishes on the valves and piston heads caused by corrosive products (iron oxides and hydroxides) at high operating temperature and pressure
  • Active anti-wear components effectively protect working surfaces against wear and extend the service life of compressor’s friction units operating under severe operating conditions
  • Active anti-corrosive components provide better valve protection and reduce wear on piston rings and cylinders
  • Excellent demulsifying properties provide rapid water separation and prevent the formation of sustainable water-oil emulsions.

Operates at high temperatures

Test Description:

40 ml of the test oil is placed in a test tube. Then the test tube is placed in an oil bath heated to 200 degrees Celsius. Turn on the air supply and bubble it through the test oil at a flow rate of 15 l/h. The duration of the test is 24 hours. At the end of the test, the oil is analyzed for coke content according to the method ASTM 189.
